Every year, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works with more than 600 nonprofit partners—including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers—to distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. They serve food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters, and senior centers are among the agencies that receive product from the Food Bank. They are a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

Provides groceries, perishable food, cereal, and more is served to the working poor as well as families living in poverty through the Joseph’s Warehouse Food Bank located at both of the South campus and DFMI Buford. Joseph’s Warehouse is equipped by the donations of our members and local supporters to supply food and some clothing items for individuals in need. They currently distribute food and other grocery items to Jonesboro and surrounding communities.

Hearts to Nourish Hope’s Food Pantry serves over 1300 families per month, providing year-round food assistance. The food pantry gives our students a chance to put their new skills into realistic practice in a safe environment where they can learn from their successes and their mistakes. It also gives the youth a chance to be held accountable, develop empathy and self-esteem and give back to the community.
