Every year, the Atlanta Community Food Bank works with more than 600 nonprofit partners—including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers—to distribute over 60 million meals to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. They serve food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters, and senior centers are among the agencies that receive product from the Food Bank. They are a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

Offers clothing, household products, food, groceries, and other aid to seniors, low income and needy residents in Clayton County. Thursday: 11 am – 1 pm, by appointment. Call for appointments and more information on food bank, food pantry, soup kitchen and other resources.

Provides groceries, perishable food, cereal, and more is served to the working poor as well as families living in poverty through the Joseph’s Warehouse Food Bank located at both of the South campus and DFMI Buford. Joseph’s Warehouse is equipped by the donations of our members and local supporters to supply food and some clothing items for individuals in need. They currently distribute food and other grocery items to Jonesboro and surrounding communities.

Hearts to Nourish Hope’s Food Pantry serves over 1300 families per month, providing year-round food assistance. The food pantry gives our students a chance to put their new skills into realistic practice in a safe environment where they can learn from their successes and their mistakes. A soup kitchen is on site at this charity. They also offer summer snacks for students that do not have free school lunches.
Social services are offered from this nonprofit charity organization. Some funds may be able to help pay rent, electric bills, and medications. Also get Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, and gifts fof your kids such as the Angel Tree program.
Samaritans Together for Clayton County, Inc.
Free emergency boxes of food are offered. The charity may also have items such as diapers, free baby formula for low income or single moms, blankets for the homeless, and hot meals.
Sconiers Homeless Preventive Organization, Inc.

Volunteers provide support. Programs include home delivered meals to the elderly, vouchers for holiday meals or medications, clothing, shelter, and more from the Clayton County charity.
